Impact

New Comfort Zone has an impact on the lives of many clients and we have started keeping statistics to show what we have been able to deliver, despite the impact of Covid, with the help of donations from our supporters.

Items Distributed

The Infographic below shows the total of items distributed by New Comfort Zone during 2021. I will be resetting the counters for 2022 at the end of January. Given the size of our small charity and having to contend with the impact of Covid, it is an astonishing achievement by our volunteers and those who make donations to keep us going and something for everyone to be proud of. Included in the figure for hot brunches are 78 three-course dinners provided at Christmas.

Vaccinations

In December we provided facilities for the attendance of the charity Horizon to give influenza vaccinations to our clients and 30 of them took this up. We have offered similar facilities to the NHS to provide Covid vaccinations in January 2022 but do not yet have a date for the sessions.

What Our Clients Receive from NCZ Sessions

The table below shows what our clients from the community typically receive at our sessions and where it comes from. Abbreviations are New Comfort Zone (NCZ) and Blackpool Food Bank (BFB)

People Attending our Weekly Sessions

The graph below shows the number of clients attending our sessions from 27 October 2020 to the end of June 2021. There continues to be a slight upward trend as shown by the dotted line.
